Two Killed in Madison County Crash

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. – Two people are dead after a crash in the southern part of Madison County. According to a news release, the crash happened just after midnight Monday morning in the 100 block of Old Pinson Road. The Madison County Sheriff’s Department said their investigation revealed that the driver of a 2002 Buick Regal traveling southbound on Old Pinson Road apparently lost control of the vehicle, struck a tree and utility pole. The vehicle reportedly caught fire on impact, trapping both the driver and passenger inside. The driver was identified as Joseph B. Dudley, 22, of Jackson. The passenger was identified as Adam R. Parker, 23, of Jackson. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe alcohol contributed to the wreck. The vehicle was towed to the Madison County Sheriff‘s Office impound lot.
