Highway to be named for former vice-principal
JACKSBORO, Tenn. (AP) – A highway in Campbell County will soon bear the name of a former high school assistant principal who was fatally shot by a student.
WBIR-TV (http://on.wbir.com/17JhFC5) reports a ceremony is planned on Tuesday evening to designate the portion of U.S. Highway 25 that runs in front of Campbell County High School as Ken Bruce Memorial Highway.
Bruce was fatally shot in 2005 and two other administrators were wounded.
