Hardeman County Man on Trial for Child Pornography Charges

HARDEMAN Co. Tenn. — A Hardeman County man is on trial for child pornography charges. John McKinney, known as Mr. Ray to many people in the community, is on trial in federal court in Jackson. McKinney is charged in a six count indictment accusing him of creating child pornography and possessing child pornography. McKinney was arrested in 2012 by the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department after allegations of child rape. The trial is expected to last two days.
