Two Job Fairs Coming to West Tennessee
JACKSON, Tenn. — Goodwill Career Solutions is hosting a job fair for a company looking to fill positions in 20 West Tennessee counties. When the county unemployment numbers were released last month, half of the 10 counties with the highest unemployment rate were in West Tennessee. Goodwill Career Solutions is hoping to help change that.. The organization will host two job fairs for A Place Called Home. The company is looking to fill several caregiver positions in more than 20 West Tennessee counties including Madison, Henderson, Carroll, Gibson, Crockett, Haywood, Lauderdale, Dyer, Lake, Obion, Weakley, Henry, Benton and Decatur counties. The first job fair will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Friday, September 13 at the Goodwill Career Solutions center in Jackson. A second job fair will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Friday, September 20 at the Goodwill Career Solutions center in Union City. A representative from A Place Called Home will be on site and interviews are possible, so dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring resumes, photo ID, Social Security card or birth certificate.
