Former Decatur County Jailer Indicted

DECATUR COUNTY, Tenn.-A former Decatur County jailer is arrested Wednesday by the TBI, indicted on counts of having sex with an inmate and official misconduct. Scotty Maness, 26, of Linden turned himself in Wednesday afternoon. The TBI said between May of 2012 and last month, Maness had sexual contact with a female inmate three times while she was in custody at the Decatur County jail. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance, next Tuesday. Maness’ bond is set at $5,000.
