Secretary of State Hargett Visits Rotary Club

JACKSON, Tenn.-The Jackson Rotary Club welcomed one of the state’s highest ranking officers to the Hub City, Wednesday. Secretary of State Tre Hargett was the guest speaker at the Jackson Country Club. He addressed many issues facing the state, including taxpayer moneys. He said the state is planning ways to make sure our money is well spent. “We’re inventing state government to where we are focused on who the customer is the taxpayer is our customer. We’re focused on making sure we’re efficient at how we utilize our tax dollars and utilize our resources we’ve been given,” said Secretary of State Tre Hargett. The secretary of state oversees many of the administrative aspects of running the state government.
