Man’s body found in water at marina
LOUISVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – A Blount County man has drowned at Louisville Marina.
WVLT-TV (http://bit.ly/1fqbOWq)reports deputies were called to the marina Wednesday by friends and family looking for 48-year-old Jeffrey Lynn Smith, who was last seen Tuesday night on a boat at the location.
The Blount Special Operations Response Team was called out to help with the search and found Smith’s body in about 8 feet of water near the dock.
Police say the drowning appears accidental.
