17-Year-Old Shot in Leg in East Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson Police say a 17 year old was shot in the leg in East Jackson Saturday. Initially, the teen told officers he was walking with friends along Garneal Street off of North Royal Street when a car drove by and fired shots. Officers said their investigation found his claims to be untrue. He was in stable condition when an ambulance took him to Jackson-Madison General Hospital. Police say charges could be filed against the teen. The investigation into what happened is still ongoing.
