Jackson’s Entrepreneur Development Center Celebrates Grand Opening

JACKSON, Tenn. – The Entrepreneur Development Center – a Launch Tennessee (LaunchTN) accelerator – in Jackson is celebrated its grand opening of its new location with a ribbon cutting and open house Tuesday afternoon. The new office space is located in the historical New Southern Hotel building at 118 E. Baltimore St. At 11,000 square feet, the new home of the Entrepreneur Development Center is almost 9,000 sq. ft. more than the center’s previous location. The accelerator will include classroom space and collaborative working space, which will have conference rooms, meet-up areas and separate work stations. “We are thrilled with our new space in this gorgeous building,” Linda Garrard said, president and CEO of the Entrepreneur Development Center. “This will allow us to host meet-ups and events for entrepreneurs from Nashville, Memphis and beyond. We think the collaborative space will be very popular in the community, and we’re excited to host our accelerator program in the new space next year.” “This new space is great news for the Jackson accelerator,” LaunchTN CEO Charlie Brock said. “Their collaborative space is perfect for entrepreneurs and should foster startup growth. I’m excited to see how their first accelerator program in the space goes next year.”
