Investigators: Child Causes Early Morning Fire At Apartment Complex

EAST JACKSON, Tenn. — A fire a Jackson apartment complex left minimal damage to an apartment Thursday morning. The fire sparked around 7:15 this morning at the Royal Arms Apartments on North Royal Street. Investigators say a small child playing with matches started the fire. No one was injured. The lower level apartment sustained minimal damage.
