Milan Firefighter Dies on Duty

GIBSON CO. Tenn.- City leaders in Milan confirm Captain Richard Floersch, 56, died while on duty, Wednesday morning. Fire Chief James Fountain said Floersch was working a 24-hour shift. He suffered the heart attack while at the fire house. Floersch was a 36-year veteran of the department. Chief Fountain calls Floersch’s death a great loss for the city. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
