LIFT Center Child Health Events
The LIFT Wellness Center, in partnership with the Ayers Children’s Medical Center, is providing a week full of fun activities, story times, and educational events to get children engaged in making healthy choices each and every day. The events are all free and open to the public. Parents/Guardians must be present. Wednesday – October 9 10:30 – 12:00: Story Time with “Sean the Fireman” Firetruck on Site for Tour 12:00 – 1:00: Immunizations Special presentation for parents by Dr. Davis-Tharpe from East Jackson Family Medical Center Thursday October 10 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. – Dental Hygiene Info Session with Dr. Keith Taylor 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. – Story Time with “Spookley” the Square Pumpkin Friday – October 11 10:00 – 2:00: Educational Booths Special Visit from “Little General” 11:30 – 1:00: Sodexo presents “Chef Remmi” a Kid-Friendly Cooking Demonstration
