Walk to Remember Those Lost to Homicide

JACKSON, Tenn.- Union University hosted the sixth annual ‘Remember Me’ commemorative walk for homicide survivors, Monday night. Hundreds of West Tennesseans attended the event as a time for families touched by homicide to remember and honor their loved ones. Families took a candlelit walk around Miller Tower and released white balloons in memory of those they had lost. In 2012, Jackson police investigated 11 homicides and Madison County had one.
