Medina Mother’s Prior Criminal History Released

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The Madison County Circuit Court has released the prior criminal history of the Medina mother accused of lying about her son’s health for years and accepting donations for her family. According to her affidavit, Decker was convicted of Theft Under $500 and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor in August of 2011. At that time, she was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days of probation for both crimes in lieu of jail time. Decker’s charge of Theft of Property between $10,000-$60,000 was enough to violate her Community Corrections sentence. Decker turned herself in to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Department late Tuesday afternoon after a warrant was issued for her arrest.
