Tipton County Sheriffs Report Home Invasion

TIPTON CO., Tenn. — Sheriffs report that a Drummonds woman was the victim of a home invasion on Thursday afternoon. At about 1:25 p.m., Tipton County Sheriff‘s Office deputies responded to the 600 block of Quito Drummonds Road in Drummonds regarding a home invasion. The victim was found partially tied up in the residence with minor injuries she received during the incident. The victim reported she had returned to her residence from shopping and heard a noise and was confronted by a white male inside the residence. According to the victim, the attacker tied her up in the bathroom and made threats if she notified authorities. The victim was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital Tipton for treatment of her injuries. The Criminal Investigation Division detectives responded to the scene for processing. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6‘0″ in height, medium build, wearing a gray “hoodie” sweatshirt, gloves, a mask and blue jeans. Detectives are still determining what was taken during the incident. The suspect possibly left the area on foot (no vehicle description). Deputies saturated the area and conducted a foot search for the suspect. The home invasion remains under investigation.
