Farmers Use Land for Fall Festivities

JACKSON, Tenn. – A little rain and cooler temperatures didn’t stop families from learning and playing at the Donnell Century farm on Saturday. And the Donnells, the owners of the fun-filled farm, said what better way to give families something to do in the fall while also learning about agriculture than to host activities on their land. “I really am excited that people would come to our farm and learn about where their food comes from, and they’re having fun with their family at the same time” Rose Anne Donnell said. Corn Mazes are quickly becoming a popular activity in the fall, with several local farmers hosting their own mazes and activities right on their own property. It not only benefits the local farmers, but the families who get to enjoy pumpkin patches, mazes, and other outdoor activities all in the same place.
