Arrest Made in Pawn Shop Burglary

MILAN, Tenn. — Police have arrested a juvenile in connection with the Milan Pawn Shop burglary on October 14. A 16-year-old boy is currently in Madison County Juvenile Detention Center. The suspect was found in Madison County even though the burglary was in Gibson County. Two guns were also recovered. Police are seeking another person they believed assisted in the burglary, as well as the rest of the guns. The store owners said in the 29 years they have owned Milan Pawn Shop they have had no incidents until these break-ins. Now, they have been forced to take new safety precautions, like putting bars over the windows and shatterproof glass on the doors. The suspects face charges of felony theft, burglary, and vandalism.
