Chick-Fil-A Collecting Food For Those In Need

NORTH JACKSON — A Jackson restaurant is teaming up with an organization that helps those in need. Chick-Fil-A on Vann Drive and Old Hickory Blvd is asking that customers to help fill the shelves of the Regional Interfaith Association’s (RIFA) food bank. For every three cans of non-perishable food items brought to either location you’ll receive a Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich coupon. The goal is to collect at least 5,000 cans. “We are just trying to give back to the community and help them in any way we can, like I said last year we raised 3,000 cans and we’re looking to bump that up a little bit more and help them out even more,” Amanda Wadley with Chick-fil-a Marketing and Catering said. The food collection drive for RIFA continues through November 15.
