Sangster Files Sexual Harassment Claim with EEOC

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The attorney for Deputy Sharon Sangster, Deborah Godwin, has filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleging her client was sexually harassed by Sheriff David Woolfork. Sangster alleges in the complaint filed on Tuesday that she suffered such harassment during her two years of employment at the Madison County Sheriff’s Department. Godwin says the complaint will take about ten days to work its way through the process to the sheriff. County officials have already set aside money to hire a Nashville law firm to investigate the claims.
