Although a majority of the cities/towns are still planning for trick-or-treating on Thursday, City Halls have encouraged parents to use discretion when having their children out in the seveve weather.

The City of Dyer takes no position on trick or treating for families in the community; some families may wish to consider trick-or-treating on Friday night. Given the inclement weather on Thursday evening, parents are encouraged to consider carefully their plans and to supervise door-to-door trick or treating, especially by small children. The Dyer Police Department will enforce a 10:00 PM curfew for juveniles within the city. |
