Sheriff Deputy to Receive Paid Leave

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — According to a memo sent out today by Madison County Assistant Chief Deputy Dan Paar, Deputy Sharon Sangster will be placed on paid administrative leave, effective tomorrow, Nov. 1. Sangster has been on unpaid leave since shortly after the Oct. 10 domestic incident at her home involving Sheriff David Woolfork. According to the memo, she will remain on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation(s). There is still no date set for the appeal hearing for the one-year protection order Sangster was granted against Sheriff Woolfork.
