Investigators: Arson Suspected in Fire that Destroyed Henry County Trailer

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — Investigators said a suspicious fire destroyed a Henry County house while the owners were out of town and right now, officials are calling it arson. It happened around 3 a.m. Sunday, according to investigators. Sheriff Monte Belew said the fire broke out at Reynoldsburg Rd. near Paris. Witnesses told investigators the fire started out of nowhere. A neighbor said the trailer has been empty since October 27. Investigators said they are trying to figure out how the fire started if no one was there. “We believe possibly there may have been some accelerant used on the fire,” Belew said. According to Belew no one was injured in the fire. If you can help with the investigation, call the Henry County Sheriff’s Department at (731) 642-1672.
