EAST JACKSON — With dangerously cold temperatures recent forecasts for West Tennessee, there is growing concern for the homeless. Area relief ministries runs an emergency night shelter for men. Churches throughout Madison County host the men for the evening and offer them a warm meal, fellowship and a safe place to sleep. The group says they always need more churches willing to help. “This temperature is not just going to be tonight but for the rest of the week,” Lisa Peoples said, the Executive Director at ARM. “It’s going to be really cold and so for us to be able to comfortably serve everyone we always like to have two churches on the calendar and so we’re always in need of additional churches.” Find out how to help the cause here: http://www.areareliefministries.org/help/donate/arm25/
