TN Couple Among Thousands Married on “11-12-13”

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Ernie and Cecilia Clark did not want just any day for their wedding day. It had to be special, November 12, 2013 or 11-12-13 seemed perfect for their love story that has had to endure heartache and pain. “I lost my first wife after 40, 43 years,” Ernie said. The couple, who met on christianmingle.com have been dating for more than a year. Ernie lost his wife back in 2010 and had a hard time explaining his new love to his children. “I had told them that I don’t know how long it would be before I would have someone else in my life,” Ernie said. Cecilia said she wanted to do something special. So she picked sequential numbers for their big day. “I said Ernie 11-12-13, you won’t forget that,” Cecilia said. A new study by David’s Bridal found 40 percent of brides would consider planning their wedding on a special day like 11-12-13. Ernie and Cecilia are obviously one of those couples. “It was very touching we both kind of teared up to cry,” Cecilia said. According to the study the next big sequential date is on 12-13-14.
