Wheelchair vs. Car Leaves Man Injured

JACKSON, Tenn.- Some scary moments Thursday evening after a man in a wheelchair is hit by a car. It happened just after 8 p.m. at North Parkway and Dr. F.E. Wright Drive. Officers said the man in the wheelchair was coming out of the apartments and a car making a turn bumped into him. The man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Officers said they do not anticipate any charges being filed.
