JACKSON, Tenn.- The Boys and Girls Club of Jackson officially kicked off its Windows of Hope campaign, Thursday night. The windows of the West Tennessee Healthcare building on the Highway 45 Bypass will light up as the donations come in. The Boys and Girls Club is an after school and summer program for at-risk children. Organizers said it is a great time of the year to help give to a good cause. “We have to light up a child’s life we have to be able to make an impact provide hope provide opportunity and show our kids we really love them,” said Sabrina Anderson of the Boys & Girls Club of Jackson. The goal for the organization is to reach $30,000. WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News has been told even before the event started they were already very close to that figure. They added they definitely will not stop raising funds any time soon.
