Woman Robbed at Gunpoint in South Jackson

SOUTH JACKSON — A Jackson woman reported that she had been robbed at gunpoint on Monday night. The woman said that she met another woman on the 50 block of Harts Bridge Road to sell her a cell phone. While she was talking to the woman, a man walked up, pulled a handgun and robbed her of her purse and cell phone. The woman complied. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as a black male, 5′ 8″ and “stocky”. He was wearing a black hoodie or jacket.
