Escaped Henry County Inmate Found

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — An inmate who escaped from the Henry County Correctional Facility was found a day after he walked away from work detail. Charles J. Delk was picked up on Hardy Street just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday after police received a tip that he was at the home. He had been serving time in Henry County for felony vandalism, and had completed his sentence at the Henry County Correctional Facility and was only in Henry County awaiting pick-up from Kentucky to answer a charge there for possession of anhydrous ammonia. Delk will now face new charges of escape according to Captain Lowe.
