Local Restaurant Prepares Homecooked Meals for Thanksgiving
NORTH JACKSON — Thanksgiving is a time for a lot of cooking, but if you don’t feel like filling the table yourself, several local companies are ready to cook for you. Latham’s Meat Company was busy Wednesday serving everything from smoked turkeys to sweet potatoes and green beans. Store manager, Tim Throne, says hundreds of people have been coming into the store to get their home cooked meal “We try to put out the best product that’s possible, home cooked and we just have the tradition of everybody coming here to get a good home cooked meal,” Throne said. The company says they have 800 meals ready for the pre-orders and are prepared for walk-ins.
