Robbery Suspect Returned to McNairy County

McNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn.-The woman accused of robbing a local convenience store and stabbing a man before fleeing to Missouri is now behind bars in West Tennessee. Deputies transported Jennifer Butler to the McNairy County jail after she was arrested in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Wednesday. Investigators said Butler entered “Gary’s Place” in Bethel Springs armed with a knife, and demanded cash. When the store owner did not comply, Butler allegedly made a dash for the door with the cash register. Investigators said a customer blocked the door, but Butler stabbed him in the hand through an opening. Deputies said Butler faces multiple charges, including aggravated robbery and assault, and vandalism.
