Wreck on South Highland Back Up Traffic

JACKSON, Tenn.-Just as the rain was beginning to freeze in Jackson, a crash backed up traffic in south Jackson. It happened around 12:30 on South Highland Avenue near the Forked Deer River. According to Jackson police, a vehicle headed south spun out causing an 18 wheeler behind it to hit it from behind. Police said the drivers of both vehicles were not seriously hurt. Investigators said the cause remains under investigation but at the time there was no ice accumulating on the roadway.
