BREAKING: Police Respond to Shots Fired Call
EAST JACKSON — At 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jackson police were called about a shooting on the 300 block of Lane Avenue. A 20-year-old Jackson man had been shot multiple times in the parking lot of a barber shop. The man was transported by ambulance to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in critical condition. Witnesses told police that a white car occupied with several people was seen leaving the scene immediately after the shooting. Investigators are attempting to gather additional information.
