JACKSON, Tenn.- A special preview of the new state the art Kirkland Cancer Center got underway Tuesday night in Jackson. The open house gave West Tennesseans a behind the scenes look at the facility. When it officially opens, officials said it will provide patients access to a state-of-the art treatment facility as well as a resource center, chapel and healing garden all under one roof on the West Tennessee Healthcare campus. “It gives us a facility that where all of the services are in one place. It’s allowed us to expand our services and facilities. It’s just going to be a much improved care environment,” said Bobby Arnold, CEO of West Tennessee Healthcare. The Kirkland Cancer Center will officially open December 16.
