Pair Arrested For Burglary of More Than $10,000

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — Two people have been arrested and charged for a November burglary that left a Lexington couple missing more than $10,000 worth of merchandise. On Nov. 24, a couple arrived home and found that their home had been broken into. According to police reports, the front door had been forced open, which damaged the door frame, and there was a considerable amount of property missing from the residence. There was property missing from every room of the house, and all of their paperwork was in a safe that was also stolen. The property taken included guns, computers, jewelry, video game systems, and other items valued at a total of more than $10,000. Casey Bartholomew and Rachel Watson, both from north Henderson County, were charged with Aggravated Burglary and Theft of Property Over $10,000 after investigators received information that pieces of jewelry had been pawned. Both Bartholomew and Watson posted bond and were released.
