UPDATE: The child who fell into the sinkhole in Stanton is ok. The Haywood County Sheriff tells us that the child was standing on the sinkhole when it opened up. Her clothes were then hung on some concrete and crews were able to pull her out. STANTON, Tenn. – The Haywood County Sheriff’s Office says a two-year-old has fallen into a sinkhole. Officials say they have emergency responders in route to Circle Drive in Stanton. Right now it’s unknown if the child is injured.
