Union City Police Make Arrest in Hit and Run

UNION CITY, Tenn. – Union City police said they have arrested the man wanted for a hit and run. Officers said 55-year-old Beauyett Young is behind bars, accused of ramming and pinning a woman with his car against her car during an argument. Police said the victim suffered a broken pelvis. She said the violent attack started over a disagreement over clothes in the dryer. The victim said she drove to her brother’s house to get away, but he followed her. No word yet on bond for Young.
