JPD Arrests Man for Solicitation of a Minor

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson Police have charged a Humbodlt man with allegedly asking a minor to engage in sexual acts Police said sixty-two year old James Ledbetter asked a minor for sex after she responded to a Craigslist ad Friday. Investigators said he arranged to meet up with her at a local McDonald’s, where he was later arrested that night. JPD said they believe Ledbetter may have previously solicited other minors on the internet. He was released on $2,500 bond and will be arraigned in court Monday morning.
