Man Wanted in Missouri Found in Humboldt

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — What started as a domestic call ended in an unexpected fugitive arrest, Thursday evening. Police were called to Mclin Street in Humboldt at 6:38 p.m. after receiving a call for a possible domestic. After a check, officers discovered that Micheal Arthur Jones, 28, was wanted in Missouri on a parole violation for a robbery in Jefferson City. Jones, of Humboldt, then fled from the scene but was later apprehended. Jones has been charged with Evading Arrest and being a Fugitive from Justice. He is being held at the Gibson County Criminal Justice Complex awaiting extradition.
