Jackson Child Struck By Car

WEST JACKSON, TENN.- A boy was rushed to the hospital early Thursday morning, after being hit by a car, according to Jackson Police. The student was walking to school on Arlington Ave. in West Jackson around 7:05 a.m., when investigators say the driver of a car struck him, then collided with another vehicle. The boy was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Police did not release his condition, but say his injuries were not life-threatening. Police have not said if icy road conditions were a factor in the incident, but weather is likely to blame for several other Thursday morning accidents across West Tennessee.
