Woman Arrested for Using Stun Gun and Robbing Elderly Woman

WEST JACKSON — A woman suspected of using a taser and robbing an elderly woman in Jackson has been captured. Police say Jennifer Morris, 22, was arrested early Thursday morning near a gas station on Lexington Ave. in downtown Jackson. Morris is accused of using a stun gun on a 76-year-old woman’s neck Tuesday afternoon, then choking and robbing her inside the victim’s home. Morris faces aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary charges.
