Deputies Investigate ATV Thefts in McNairy County

MCNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn. — The McNairy County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two four-wheeler thefts. On Jan. 10, deputies responded to 6243 Vernie Kirk Road in regards to a theft of 2000 Honda Rancher was missing from under a shed. There were tire tracks that led to down into his field. The deputy followed the tracks and found a set of foot prints heading towards the residence but none going back. On Jan. 11, a deputy responded to another theft complaint, this time on 93 Nelson Road. The man on the property said he went to check on the property because he saw a green four wheeler that belongs to someone else rammed into a fence that surrounds the property. When he drove up the driveway he noticed the building had been broken into and Miller’s yellow Honda Forman four wheeler was missing. The investigation for these thefts is ongoing.
