Local Ruby Tuesday Closes Its Doors

NORTH JACKSON — A surprise for many in North Jackson as the doors to Ruby Tuesday restaurant seemly closed without warning. On Tuesday, crews could be seen taking down the restaurant sign. The east Tennessee company said earlier in January it plans to close 30 of its restaurants. The company, based in Maryville, has struggled with declining sales. Ruby Tuesday reported a loss of $34.4 million in the last quarter.
