Parts of Old Barley’s Torn Down

NORTH JACKSON — Drivers in North Jackson were surprised to see a part of the Old Barley’s building being torn down, Wednesday afternoon. Only a small portion was taken down, Wednesday and it’s unclear what will happen to the property now. Barley’s went out of business several years ago, and the building has remained empty since. As soon as we get more information about the property’s future, WBBJ will update this story. Calls to the owner were not immediately returned.
