Arkansas State Athlete Killed in Walker Road Shooting
JACKSON, Tenn. — Officials at Arkansas State have confirmed that one of the people killed last night in the Walker Road shooting was ASU DL Markel Owens. According to his bio Owens played prep football at Liberty Tech. Owens was 21. The Arkansas State Football program (@RedWolvesFBall) tweeted around 10 a.m. and said: “Today is a tough day for the Red Wolves family.
