Nurse Practitioner and Husband Arrested For TennCare Fraud

DECATUR COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has arrested three people who are accused of Tenncare fraud. According to the TBI, nurse practitioner Kimberly Inman and a colleague, Season Hughes, over-prescribed controlled substances to patients and prescribed improper controlled substances and forged medical records. Investigators say Inman’s husband, James Inman, had knowledge of the scheme. The three were arrested following an 8-month undercover investigation. Kimberly Inman and Season Hughes are being held in lieu of $100,000 bond, and James Inman’s bond is set at $50,000.
