McDowell Inducted into Int’l Rockabilly Hall of Fame

JACKSON, Tenn.-Friday night was a very special night for music lovers throughout West Tennessee. The International Rockabilly Hall of Fame inducted Ronnie McDowell, whose famous for hits like “The King is Gone”, “Watching Girls Go By” and “Older Women are Beautiful Lovers”. McDowell said that he is very grateful to be the newest inductee into the International Rockabilly Hall of Fame. “Well, I have got to tell you in 1954, july the 4th 1954 when Elvis Scottie and Bill went into Sun Studios and recorded “That’s Alright Mama, I was four years old and my sister brought that record home and like I say, I have not been the same since,” said Ronnie McDowell, the newest inductee into the International Rockabilly Hall of Fame. Dozens of fans attended Friday night’s induction ceremony.
