CARROLL CO. Tenn., – Clean up of last month’s train derailment in Carroll County is still underway. The company, CSX , who owns the train that derailed said in a release Sunday they still have equipment in the area, and is making plans to clean it up as soon as possible. As a reminder, last Thursday, a CSX train traveling from Savannah, GA, to Memphis derailed. The train derailed one locomotive and 9 rail cars (of the 44 total cars in the train) in Trezevant. There were no injuries to the crew. CSX said they are thankful for local law enforcement’s efforts in the matter, and the patience of area residents.
