North Jackson Motel Robbed, Suspect On the Run

JACKSON, Tenn.- Jackson police are investigating the armed robbery of a north Jackson motel and the armed suspect is on the run. Jackson police told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News they were called to the Super 8 on Wiley Parker Road around 8 p.m., Thursday night. Officers said the suspect was armed but did not say what kind of weapon he had. No one inside the motel was injured and the suspect reportedly got away with cash.
