Legendary Milan Football Coach Dies

MILAN, Tenn. — Legendary West Tennessee high school football coach, John Wade Tucker, passed away early Sunday morning. The family said Tucker was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and congestive heart failure. He passed away around 3 a.m. Milan Fire Department could not confirm the cause of death. Tucker is best known for his 25 years he spent coaching the Milan Bulldogs and leading them to two state championships. He retired as one of TSSAA’s most winning coaches.
