Madison County Commission Accepts Woolfork Retirement
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. – The Madison County Commission has accepted former Sheriff David Woolfork’s retirement. The letter of retirement was accepted with no commissioners verbally opposed. The commission will discuss who will fill the sheriff’s position leading up to the August 7 election. That spot is currently held by Interim Sheriff Tommy Cunningham. The commission will discuss candidates in their next meeting on March 17.
